We turned 2! That means a birthday party, cake and presents! This year we were really excited about our birthday as we really wanted to blow out the candles and cut the cake. Cake, by far, is the best things about birthdays.
Mumma got loads of balloons and set them up in our room on our birthday. when we woke up we went in and WOW what a surprise we had! One of the balloons even sang Happy Birthday to us.

For our Birthday Mumma and Papa took us to the Wild Animal Safari! We got to feed the animals with our hands. How cool is it seeing all the animals we have learnt in books up close and personal and that they even came and ate from our hands! We had an amazing time. Here are some pictures from the safari! We got to see so many animals - Goats, cows, ostrich, zebras, ducks, giraffe, rhino, camel, lion, deer, pony, pigs! Zara still remembers " When we went to see the "amimals", the Ostrich was dancing!"

We came home after dinner and it was time to cut the cake! This was by far the best part of the day! Here are some pictures!

We got to celebrate our birthday once more with all our friends. We had a party at our favorite Jumpy House and guess what Elmo came to the party too! We had so much fun dancing with Elmo and then sitting on his lap and taking pictures. Yes, the jumpy house was loads of fun too! And guess what? Yup, you got it, we had to blow the candles and cut the cake and we got to eat more cake! Just a thought....Why don't they call it cakedays!
