Mumma says we are becoming big girls now and the month by month age is gonna end after this. Does that mean we will no longer be babies? But that also means that our Birthday is coming up. We are really enjoying this whole birthday thing and can't wait for ours. Mumma says its gonna be a lot of fun!
First it was our buddy Rayan's birthday! We had a lot of fun at his party. We got to get our faces painted for the first time. WOW! it was so much fun. Zara wanted a butterfly and Zoya a flower. We then got to dance with Mickey mouse! We really enjoyed the cake! We have this new found love for cakes. The best part was we put our fingers and licked some icing when nobody was looking. We were being a little sneaky but Mumma caught us at it!
We also got to see all the Christmas lights going up and got to visit Santa Claus. Zara was scared to go near him but Zoya enjoyed reading a story with him.
Nani and Nanu came to stay with us. We were really excited to meet them. Zara went with Papa to surprise them and Nani didn't even recognize her. She was talking to Zara for a couple minutes before she realized it was Zara. Zoya was asleep so she got to meet them when they came to the car.
Here are some random photos from the month
One random day we remembered how Mumma and Papa do cheers and so we decided to do cheers with our milk!
Also we love reading books and now we can finish the sentences of the books. We were reading one of our favorite books with Papa (Nancy Cupcakes)
Favorite Book: Zara - Nancy Cupcakes Zoya - Warthog Cupcakes - Are you surprised that our favorite books are also about cupcakes??
Favorite Nursery Rhyme: Zara - Twinkle Twinkle and Goodnight Bears Zoya - Pea Tot
Favorite Song: Zara - Other Saturday (Veerey Di Wedding) Zoya: Saturday
Favorite thing to watch on TV - Zara - Elmo Happy Birthday Zoya - Elmo Ball
Counting until: Zara - 20 Zoya -24
Zara has just figured out how to sing and now tries to sing some of her rhymes. She likes to sing Twinkle Twinkle and Goodnight Bears. She loves reading to her baby and talking to her baby about what needs to be done next. Her sentences and conversations will start somewhere and end at a totally different topic. Zara now attempts to call herself Zara and not Zoya.
Zoya can now identify most of the alphabet and likes to yell out the alphabets that she sees on billboards and on trucks. Mumma was quite surprised when Zoya said out the letters on a truck one day! Zoya can also identify some numbers; 3 and 5 seem to be the easiest.
We have both learned our near relatives first names now including Kailash Dadi ( although Zara thinks she is her friend and calls her Kailash sometimes), Om Prakash Chandna. ( Zoya says it correctly and Zara says Om Kapash Chandna), Madhu Nani, Subhash Nanu, Neha Mumma, Vicky Papa Chandna, Deeti Bubu and Miti Masi.
We have fun playing hide and seek with Papa and love it when Mumma tickles us when we come down the slide. Zoya is very fond of Nanu and loves to make sure Nanu is with her whenever we go out. Both Zara and Zoya love hiding behind the blinds in Nani's room and having Nani and Nanu find them.
