March 2015

Another fun month! From festivals to visiting the aquarium and also getting ready for our first trip to India.

Holi, our favorite festival was this month. Zara had an amazing time putting color on herself rather than on other people. Zoya had a stomach bug and a temperature and didn't want anything to do with color or people. She just wanted to be by herself and spent the afternoon watching TV. Here are some pictures

We also went to the Georgia Aquarium for the first time. What an amazing place. We got to see Sharks, whales, penguins, sea horses, jelly fish, sting rays, crabs and so much more that we can't even remember. WOW!

We also spent an afternoon at Purple Hippo which a kids art and craft place. We were the only ones there so we had the whole place to ourselves. We painted our firm ceramic figurines. Zara painted a teddy bear and Zoya painted a princess. Guess what the princess had hair and a crown. We had such a blast that afternoon.

Other than that we just spent the month with our regular masti! Zoya has finally started calling Zara Zara and not Zoya. We are getting really excited for our trip to India to meet everyone that we have just seen through FaceTime. We have started playing with our dolls and need our dolls for everything that we do. We have even made Mumma go down in the middle of the night to get our babies (dolls) for us. Zara's baby is wearing a Jacket right now and so she is called Jacket Baby and Zoya's baby is wearing jeans so she is Jeans Baby. We don't like getting our babies swapped at any cost!

February 2015

February was a fun month. We started out by celebrating Nanu's birthday! You know what that meant....yup... cake and blowing out candles. We made a card for Nanu and surprised him in the morning. We love birthdays, cakes, candles and presents! So much so that Zoya even asked Nanu to give her a present. A few days later it was Dadi's birthday and we made Mumma put a candle on the cake and we blew it out and sang Happy Birthday to her too! Birthdays are all about cake and candles!

Maneesh Mamu and Suneeta Mami also finally came to visit us. We had such a good time doing random masti with them and showing off all our toys to them.

Zoya and Zara have really started enjoying wearing their sunglasses and try to wear them whenever they can!

Zoya and Zara love to sing various Nursery Rhymes right now. They also have their own game that they play. They both find various food items and keep saying them to each other and laughing. Its hilarious to watch them crack up! (aaaaaaaa Mussels, aaaaaaa cupcakes, aaaaaaa pizza). Also Zoya calls Zara Zaya and many times through the day you can hear " What you doing Zaya". They have really started enjoying each others company and have started playing together a lot.

Zoya and Zara have also learned the entire Gayatri Mantra and can recite it.

January 2015

After our birthday we had such an awesome time. Right after that was Christmas. One night while we slept Santa Clause came and dropped all our gifts under the tree. In the morning when we woke up we say all the gifts and had fun opening them too.

January was a really fun month! We started the year off with a bang! Mumma had been telling us that we were going to Elmo's House and we could get to dance with Elmo but we didn't know THIS is what she meant.

It was a long day before we actually got to Elmo's house. As Zara says "First we go in the train, then in tunnel and the plane and then a bus and THEN we get to Elmo's house!" After the long ride, it was the best place to be. We got to do "chap chap" every single day! As Zoya would say each day "I need to do Chap Chap." We got to see, hug and dance with Elmo, Abby, Zoe, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert and Oscar every day! Oh, and ice cream! We could get as many of them and whenever we wanted them. I mean can you imagine we had ice cream for breakfast one day! One day Zoya wanted 3 ice cream cones and Nanu got them for her. Like WOW!!! One day we went to the beach and we could play in the sand. It was so much fun to just play in the sand with the sand in our fingers and toes!Needless to say we really had a blast at Elmo's house! ( Beaches Resort, Ochos Rios, Jamaica)
