Zoya & Zara: October 2014

Fall is finally here! The weather is nice...its not too hot and not too cool..Just perfect! We are enjoying this perfect weather being outdoors as much as possible and going to all the various Fall festivals around us. Additionally September/October is a busy festive month with lots of Indian festivals too!

We went to Georgia Fair and we had an amazing time. Zara went on the pony ride and enjoyed it so much that she had to go again before we left to come back home. Also, there was a ducky game that we both enjoyed. We had to pick duckies from this ducky pond and then they gave us a prize! There was also a Nemo ride. Zoya spotted the ride as she loves Nemo but once she sat on it and it moved she was ready to come out and hold on to Mama instead. Zoya is a scary cat right now!!

Navratri was this month. Its nine days of Durga pooja and they have dancing too! The maunder had children grab and so Mamma took us so that we could experience it. Our friend Nishi had come too and we had a blast playing "sticks dancey" (dandia). Zoya saw that we were going to do Aarti and she could not wait for it to start.

On the eight day they have Ashtami pooja and papa does our pooja and we get to eat halwa and channa. We love halwa and channa! As a bonus we get lots of presents too!

Since its October, everything was about Pumpkins! We went to a pumpkin patch and there were so many of them. In all sizes and shapes!

Finally, we went to the Monteluce winery. its was our 4th trip there. Yup we love that place! We enjoyed the weather and most of all our time with Papa!

We love looking at our photos and videos from the past weeks and remembering what we did!
We love seeing animals or evening making all the animal sounds that we know. ( Sheep, Horse, Duck, Cat, Pig, Cow, Dog, Lion, Owl and Tiger)

We love talking all day long! Zara loves talking about her day and includes random facts and words in her babbling. Zoya loves playing with Elmo, drops him and then says Elmo Fall! They love telling Mamma what they see and love babies of all kinds. Zoya really loved her new Jumpy Jumpy class (Gymnastics) and is totally in love with her teacher Ms. Rita! This is amazing because Zoya is the one that opens up to people slowly but Ms Rita was whole different story. Zoya still loves playing blocks and colors and can sit and do any of these activities for 30 minutes where as Zoya is distracted after 5 minutes and looks for some kind of mischief after that.
