Our First Camping Trip!

What a fun experience!! We had our first experience of camping...and we loved it!!! We don't understand what the whole hype of it being hard to "rough it out" is all about! We did just fine we actually had a really good time and are looking forward to going on another trip!

You know, Mumma was telling us that before when they went camping they used to sleep in a small tent with blankets and sleeping bags on the floor. Also, she said that there isn't any light so once it gets dark you have to use a torch! That would be scary! Why would anyone go camping like that!. We don't know why Mumma did that kind of camping, maybe they didn't know about this place then. Ours was so much more fun!

Our tent was the yellow one and was in the middle of all these trees. It was so much bigger than than the play tents we make at home. Inside there were two beds and a bunk bed. Papa put us on the bunk bed and we had fun just jumping. The air conditioner was on so it was nice and cool inside for us to play.  They even had these two chairs for us to have our snacks on! They must have known that we were two so they set up our chairs! We played Frisbee outside, played on the swings and just enjoyed being outdoors. We even saw some butterflies with all different colors.

We had fun sitting in the chairs and watching Papa grill our chicken for dinner and make breakfast in the morning.  Papa even started an Aarti so that he could cook. (When Zara saw the fire in the grill she yelled out Aarti Aarti) Its kinda fun to just play outside and eat outside. We didn't have to worry about our high chairs, bibs or spoons!

Before we left in the morning, we even got to sit and relax with Papa and Mumma in the hammock. How relaxing! We just loved the whole camping experience! We cant wait to do it again!

20 Months Old!

Summer is at its peak with the temperatures soaring high! Its heartbreaking when we ask Mumma if we can go out and play and she says "Its too hot...we will go in a little while!" Even then, our 20th month was still fun; filled with different water parks and regular parks. There is a whole list of parks/playgrounds that we went to this month. Here we go...

  •  Lake Lanier Water Park - We loved this park. They had water slides just for us! It was amazing. Zoya was a tad bit scared but Zara, the adrenaline junkie, loved the slides! They even had a beach so we got to play with some sand. Initially Zoya didn't want the sand to touch her feet and sat in some weird positions on Mumma but in the end Papa had to pull her out of there so we could leave!
  • Duluth Amphitheater Spray Fountain - We went to spray fountain in Duluth. We got to play with other children and had some food truck food which was yummy!
  • Floyd Rd Spray Fountain - This one was close to home and we had fun playing with all our water toys!
  • Roswell Spray Park - We love this park so much! We went to Bui and Ivanka this time and as you can imagine had an amazing time!
  • Smyrna Food Truck Park - We got to see all the dogs out playing and just enjoyed sitting and in the grass and enjoying a picnic dinner!
  • Smyrna's Birthday Festival- It was Smyrna ( the city we live in) birthday so they had a little festival. We enjoyed playing in the grass while we ate our dinner. We had a great spot to watch the fireworks but it started raining so we left and came home!
  • Playgrounds - Mumma took us to various playgrounds around the house this month. We love the swings and the slide and don't mind going there whenever we get a chance.
  • Catch Air - This was the first time we went to this Jumpy House. We have only one word. WOW!!

It was a happening month...don't you agree? We love painting, reading books, listening to our nursery rhymes and dancing when its really hot to go outside! We are learning our numbers and colors as well now.  We both say many different works and know all our animal sounds too.
