January was a fun filled month for us! So much happened! It started off with Salil Chachu and Shweta Chachi coming to visit us with Sanay and Svana. Then we had our Mundan and it snowed in Atlanta! Not once but twice!!! We had a lot of fun this month.

It was a cold month and it meant that we had to stay bundled up. But that didn't stop us from running around. Zoya started walking early in the year and all she wanted to walk and explore her new freedom. Although there were a lot of falls, the extra padding from the layers of clothes that we had to wear sure did help!
We started holding our bottles on our own now and we try to do things by ourselves. Zoya really likes to see how the bowl really works and always finds a bowl to play with, whether its on her head or just playing with it. Zoya also likes to read and will pick up a book and just read by herself. Zara on the other hand likes to play peek a boo with mumma. She think that a bowl is something she can hide her face behind and play peek a boo! Our best toys in the house are Tupperware boxes! they are like bowls in all different sizes!
