Vacationing in Destin, Florida

We found out what all the hype about beaches is. Although mom and dad say that there are some much better beaches, we were all pleasantly surprised with the white sand and clear water in Destin. Hey, we loved it!

It was quite a long drive and dadu and dadi helped keep us entertained. Our hotel was right on the beach and we got to see the beautiful view as soon as we got there. We soon learned that being by the beach also means that its SUPER HOT!! Thanks to the great fans that dad got us, else we would have really burned!
Ahhhh....what a relief! Thanks Dad!

Man, its HOT here!
We didn't quite go into the ocean, but we sure did spend a fair amount of our vacation by the pool. We loved swimming with our new floaties! Kicking our legs in the water, splashing around, and then having a cool beverage of our choice - milk of course - that's what vacations are all about! Its not just us that did this, but mom, dad, dadu and dadi all saw how much fun we were having and joined in on the fun too. We were so tuckered out that we slept by the pool!

We went to many restaurants and enjoyed people watching. One of everyone favorite was the Mexican restaurant. Dadu really liked the sombrero hat they had for birthday parties so we all got our photos with it!

I love to pose!

This  thing is bigger than me!

We also took many pictures on the pier and  the sunset Cruise that we took. It was bumpy and windy but we had an amazing time. We even got to see some dolphins jump out of the water and Zoya got to drive the boat as the captain!

Even if we couldn't get into the ocean as mom thought that the water would be too salty for us, we still enjoyed taking pictures by the water and by the beach. We also got to enjoy relaxing on our own beach chairs while we watched papa and dadu go jet skiing. We got tired and missed the part where papa overturned the jet ski and dropped both papa and dadu in the water. they had to swim back till the life guard went and rescued them!!! Note to self:We better make sure we have our life jackets on when we go on rides with papa!

Relazing on the beach!

Each night we would be so tuckered out that we would sleep in our own sweet sleeper bed courtesy Sheraton. OOOOh those beds are awesome and vacations can be sooo tiring!!

Finally we were headed back home! We wanted to carry that vacation mood as long as possible so decided to pose for some pictures at the filling station! It was super hot! Thank god for our sunglasses else that sun was disturbing our nap time!

5 months old!!

We turned 5 months yesterday! We are enjoying every little bit of life as much as we have seen. This month we started trying to roll over. Being on our  back is not the only position we can be in - we just figured that out! Also we enjoy smiling and making eye contact with everyone. We also like exploring whatever we hold. As you can see we wanted to hold our boards ourselves this month and see what was this board all about that mom puts by us each month!

Mother's Day

This year was our first Mother's Day. We have been with Mamma for the past 5 months and we get one day where we dedicate to her and show her how special she is. We had a conversation with Papa to get him on our side and discussed our plans with him as we really needed his help to execute. He also gave us some awesome ideas. Thanks Papa for all the help. You really helped us make Mamas first Mothers Day super awesome and even better than we expected.

Papa decided to cook for the two mothers in the house as Dadi was here too. He planned out an exciting brunch and dinner menu for all. Everyone enjoyed their food a lot as we heard them say but we can surely say that Mummy's food was super delicious as we tasted it. Papa knew exactly what to make for each so we let him roll with the ball here. Dadu and Papa spent  most of the day in the kitchen prepping and making their awesome food. They made Mamma steak and eggs and dadi got a yummy hash brown for breakfast. For dinner they made pork belly, fresh corn bread with bacon jam and creamed spinach.  It just sounds yum!!! So you can only imagine what it tasted like. Papa set up a candle light dinner which they enjoyed after we went to sleep! During the day we all also went to grab some coffee and took some pictures.

Thanks Papa for all the pointers on the gifts and also for helping us plan this special day for Mamma. We definitely could not have pulled it off without you. Also Dadu was a great help as he was playing sous chef with Papa all day long. We love you both!

Everyone enjoying the view and the coffee!

Hey.... That's us!

Happy Mothers Day! Papa with the two MOMS!!
