Dadu and Dadi are here to see us

We were super excited to meet our other set of grandparents. Dadu and Dadi were coming to Atlanta just to see us. Although their travel plans got postponed by a few days we were super excited to finally meet them. We had seen them on FaceTime several times but meeting up close and personal was a whole different thing.

At the airport, mumma and papa spotted Dadu and Dadi. They decided they would surprise them by hiding us from them. However, dadi spotted us and left her bags and came running to hold us. As usual we gave them our big smiles and we know we had them too tightly wound around our fingers.

Mumma dressed us up in our pink dresses with the matching hats so that anyone who would see us would fall madly in love with us. We had on our matching shoes too! Obviously Dadi and Dadu were mesmerized by us instantly and why wouldn't they be, we looked super cute as you can see as well.  Not only were we dressed for the occasion, Dadi was wearing her Dadi(squared) T shirt.

We were so excited to see the gifts that dadu and dadi got for us that we could hardly wait. Bui had also sent some clothes for us and mumma had shown us some pictures from the sneak peak that bui had shared. We got some beautiful clothes! We got salwar suits and lenghas with matching bangles of course. Bui already knows what we like! Two thumbs up for you Bui (wink wink). We were so happy that we had to take some pictures with AAAAALLLL the stuff that we got.

Babli Masi comes to visit

Babli Masi, or Suman Masi or Pratima Masi ( yup she has many names and it makes it super confusing for us too) came to visit us from New Jersey. She came for the weekend and we had a great time with her.  She gave us some nick names too, Zara was DQ for Drama Queen and Zoya was BQ for Beauty Queen. I guess we gave away our personality traits real easy!

Masi came and played with us, fed us and even rocked us to sleep and guess what we loved it. We wonder why Mumma does do this whole rocking thing. Note to Mumma, we like this rocking thing, could you please include it in your sleep routine with us moving forward.

Masi celebrated her birthday with us. How lucky! We had fun! We took her out to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We slept through most of it as its pretty much all we really do, but we did wake up to wish her and just to see the place.

We had our three month shots while masi was here, and were knocked out for the whole day and we mean whole day. We wouldn't even wake up to drink milk but since the doctor had said that we need to be woken up every three hours to drink milk, they sure did wake us up every three hours but then we went right back to sleep. In the evening, that day, Nani and Masi made Mumma and Papa go out for date night - Dinner and a movie! Mumma and Papa we sure hope you enjoyed it coz it aint happening again for a long time! :) Maybe the next time we shall come along too. When Mumma and Papa came back, Nani and Masi had us cuddled in their bed and acted as though they were sleeping so that Mumma and Papa would leave us with them and go to bed. But Mumma is smart!!!! She knew what they were doing ..... and of course she missed us and wanted to hold us, even though we were sleeping. We missed you to Mumma.

Masi we really hope you come back and visit us frequently as you live close by! We cant wait to see you again and show you our new mastis. Here are some pictures from her visit.

3 Months old!

We turned the big milestone of 3 months old! We have become a little more demanding on mom but we are sure she doesn't quite mind as we are so much fun now. We didn't really even allow her to take our regular 3 month photo shoot.

We have started smiling and can find mom within the room. When we smile at her she smiles back at us and forgets how busy we keep her... or so we hope! We each have our own way of smiling and we love interacting with people around us and seeing their reactions when we smile at them. Its interesting that when we smile everyone around us starts smiling too.

Since Zoya gave Mumma and Papa a scare when she stopped eating as she was missing Nani; she had to go see the doctor and therefore had to get weighed. Her weight was 9lbs and 6 oz. Here are some pictures at out 3 month old mark.

We miss our Nani!

Our Nani was here when we were born. We got to spend lots of time with her as she watched us grow. We shared some great monents with her and soon realized that her familiar sound was not there in the house. She was not there to pick us up, or give us milk but mosr of all we missed her smiles and her talking to us. The house had gotten so quiet. We had heard mom and nani say that Nani was leaving for a few days but we had no idea this is what it meant! Nani we really miss you1

Zoya missed Nani so much that she stopped drinking milk. She felt maybe that would bring Nani back. She didnt drink milk for 18 hours in protest. Finally Zoya figured that not drinking milk was not brining
Nani back but instead had gotten Mom and Dad so scared that they brought her to  the doctor. She started drinking milk at the doctors - after all he is the one wg puts us those nasty vacinations.
